First Nation visual artist

Dawn Marie Chartrand is a First Nation visual artist from Rolling River First Nation, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Since beginning her artistic journey in 2017, she has used painting as a powerful way to express her dreams, experiences, and deep connection to her Indigenous heritage.

Her artwork is inspired by the beauty of nature, family, spirituality, and the stories that shape everyday life. Through vibrant color palettes and expressive compositions, Dawn creates meaningful pieces that celebrate culture, resilience, and personal reflection. She encourages creativity, balance, and connection while sharing Indigenous teachings with people of all ages.
